POSITION: Summer School Secondary Principal

SALARY: $10,000.00

LOCATION: Riverhead High School

START DATE: June 2026

END DATE: August 2026

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Valid NYS Administrator Certification (SAS/SBL)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plans for and organizes all aspects of a secondary summer school program, inclusive of the following, but not limited to:

  • Coordinates and plans program registration

  • Interviews / hires faculty and support staff 

  • Coordinates Summer School reporting, compensation/supervision of staff/faculty and abides by all SED and district expectations

  • Creates a Summer School master schedule and testing schedule

  • Oversight of Regents examination ordering, scoring and reporting of data

  • Other responsibilities as designated by the Executive Director of Secondary Education, Grants and Student Outcomes
