Job Description

POSITION: School Psychologist (CPSE) - Probationary

SALARY: Starting Salary Range Per RCFA Contract:

• BA - Step 1 - $54,594.00

• MA - Step 1 - $64,422.00

LOCATION: Pupil Personnel Services

START DATE: September 1, 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare psychological assessments

• Review all referrals/initials

• Complete PWN section of the IEP

• Chair meetings and present clinical findings, interpret results, recommend educational accommodations

• Observe and report on children in classroom and clinical settings

• Communicate and collaborate with county representatives and pre-school programming administrators

• Consult with parents, special education teachers (SEITs), and district administrators to align intervention strategies with children’s needs

• Familiarity with New York State Education Law (Part 4410) and CPSE policies preferred

Job Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Active and valid School Psychologist license. Familiarity with New York State Education Law (Part 4410) and CPSE policies preferred.
