POSITION: CUSTODIAL WORKER I

12 MONTH POSITION WITH 6% NIGHT DIFFERENTIAL

LOCATION: RIVERHEAD HIGH SCHOOL 

HOURS: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM 

SALARY: $25.12 PER HOUR /  PER CSEA CONTRACT

START DATE: JANUARY 2026

Job Qualifications

 REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• Valid NYS Driver’s License

• Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to perform work on ladders

• Self-starter, ability to work with minimum supervision & multi-task

• Ability to communicate with co-workers and public, ability to understand and implement oral and written instructions

• Ability to perform snow removal and other exterior work

• Spanish speaking preferred but not required
